We cut through the noise of complex marine data to deliver clear, actionable dashboards and insights that you can actually use before you ever leave the dock.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Mike Gallagher I started Southern California Boating Resources out of a genuine passion for being a part of the Southern California Boating Community.

With my own personal experience working on Oyster Boats when I was younger, and recent years looking to aquire my own boat, I realized how difficult it can be to find straightforward, practical advice online. I launched this platform to share what I’ve learned, solve common pain points, and build a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

Why Trust Me?

  • I have a passion for what I am doing, I don’t just rewrite what’s already on the internet. My content is built on continuous learning, and practical execution.
  • Accuracy & Safety: I take pride in the details because I know they matter when you are out on the water. Every marine report, alert, and safety checklist is meticulously curated and kept up-to-date to ensure you have the precise, easy-to-read information you need to make a confident “go or no-go” decision from your kitchen table.
  • Community-Focused: Your feedback matters. continuously update our content based on reader input and safety standards to ensure we always provide maximum value.
